Subject Streams


Linguistic Development
We build a solid foundation in literacy for both English and Afrikaans, driven by systematic phonics, living literature, creative writing and regular read-aloud sessions, including structured dictation, poetry recitation, and Scripture memorisation.


Mathematical Foundations
We teach mathematics using the globally recognized Singapore Mathematics methodology, which builds brilliant problem-solving skills by taking kids through a concrete-to-pictorial-to-abstract learning progression.


Life Skills
We take time to enjoy music, art, dance and drama lessons once a week and learn important life skills, going to the Botanical Gardens every 2nd week for nature studies. This includes Bible study, Composer study, Picture (Art) study, and practical Handicrafts.

The Enrichment Feast
Specialized Charlotte Mason components including Bible study, composer study, picture (art) study, and practical handicrafts. We take time to enjoy music, art, dance and drama lessons once a week and learn important life skills, going to the Botanical Gardens every 2nd week for nature studies.
Grades 7–9
Senior Phase
Our High School phase provides a challenging academic and moral environment tailored to the developmental needs of teenagers. We establish clear behavioural expectations and consistent boundaries, encouraging our students to engage in critical problem-solving and develop independent thought.

Extended study within the Cambridge secondary framework, covering algebra, geometry, and data handling.

Culture & Community
We truly believe that authentic character growth happens when children step outside the classroom through hands-on learning, artistic expression, and civic engagement.
Creative, Visual & Performing Arts
We provide vibrant weekly art and music programs to develop critical thinking, self-expression, and technical skill. Our students learn about classic historical masters and composer histories, and they build confidence by taking part in our annual school theatrical play.
Outdoor Education & Nature Conservation
Reflecting our deep commitment to environmental stewardship, our classes visit the local Botanical Gardens every second week. Here, our students conduct seasonal observations and maintain detailed, individual nature journals. To develop leadership and resilience, every class participates in a mandatory educational outing or developmental team-building camp anually.
Community Outreach
In alignment with scriptural mandates to serve others, each phase at Gracehill College directly supports a local community project. Learning firsthand the joy of using their talents to serve the broader George community.
